Nail Technician, Aesthetician

Come join our team at Sassé Wellness & MedSpa. Beautiful facility, conveniently located in the heart of the city just one block from Pioneer Square, locally owned and operated since 1982.

We are looking for a new team member dual licensed in esthetics and nails, natural nails, soak-off gel, body treatments, waxing, facials, and more.


Responsibilities:

💅 Nail Technician Duties:

  • Provide expert nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.

  • Stay updated on the latest nail trends and techniques.

  • Ensure a clean and organized nail station at all times.

💆‍♀️ Esthetician Duties:

  • Perform a range of esthetic treatments, such as facials, waxing, and skincare consultations.

  • Customize treatments based on client needs and skin type.

  • Stay informed about skincare products and recommend appropriate home care routines.

🌟 Client Engagement:

  • Build positive and lasting relationships with clients.

  • Consult with clients to understand their beauty goals and preferences.

  • Educate clients on proper nail and skincare maintenance.

🌺 Hygiene and Safety:

  • Adhere to all sanitation and hygiene standards.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Follow safety protocols for all treatments.

Qualifications:

  • State licensure as both a Nail Technician and Esthetician.

  • Proven experience in providing nail and esthetic services.

  • Knowledge of the latest nail and skincare trends.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Compensation: DOE bonus hourly for hands on service, hourly for hands off time, and provider recives 100% of their tip. Opportunity for raise after completion of Introductory Period and 90 Day Review. Eligibility for benefits after completion of 90 Day Introductory Period for full-time employees. Pay period runs the 1st-15th and 16th- end of each month, and pay day is 5th and 20th of the month.

Time Off: Spa Sassé requests you reserve time off 30 days in advance and find coverage when possible. We value the personal time of our employees and recognize its significance in maintaining overall well-being.

Treatments are always in progress at Spa Sassé. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early, allowing you time to check-in, fill out paperwork if you haven't already online, and unwind. Please silence your cell phones, and lower voices to ensure all guests have a quiet, relaxed spa environment.

 

When booking your appointment, notify our staff of:

  • Known allergies

  • Special health care needs/concerns

  • Mobility issues: If you have trouble using steps, we do have an elevator but need to be informed at arrival so we can lead you.

  • If pregnant please Advise how far along

  • Requested Spa Provider and/or treatment requests.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?  We will do our absolute best to accommodate you based on what our schedule allows. Please call us and let us know if you will be late so we can better assist. As we have a busy schedule and other guests following your appointment, if you happen to be late to your appointment, your appointment may be shortened to accommodate. Thank you for your understanding.

Your complete satisfaction is our first priority. In the unlikely event you are at all unsatisfied with your purchase, please let us know immediately. We accept returns for unopened and unused merchandise 7 days after purchase for exchange only, Sorry no refunds.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  We have reserved a dedicated time for your visit. We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your spa appointment. We have implemented a 24-hour cancellation policy that requires a credit card to reserve our time, to ensure optimal scheduling for our clients and being respectful to our staff. Please carefully read and acknowledge the following policy:

 

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled appointment time will not incur any charges or penalties.

 

Cancellations, No-shows, or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the service(s) scheduled. No-shows for complimentary or follow-up appointments will incur a $50 charge.

 

Any changes to your appointment, including cancellations or rescheduling requests, must be made by contacting our spa directly via online, phone, text, or email.
